On MSNs home page recently someone had had a lot of fun pairing up celebrities that were born in the same year but who look ten years apart in age. Poor Prince Edward was paired with Brad Pitt – not fair guys! No one wants to be compared with Brad Pitt! But it is striking how much older the prince looks. Stress Free Holiday Packing With Great Personal Style
I was given the envelope and inside were the flight tickets and a printout featuring the most gorgeous boutique hotel in a converted castle in Catalonia. Each room was superbly decorated in an exotic and individual style, the pool was sparkling and secluded, the courtyard overlooking the olive groves was awaiting my breakfast order in the shade or my cocktail order as the sun went down. Colour Yourself Out of the Recession
As we meander our way through the recession (or is it now a recovery?) and wonder whether there will be a double dip, it's interesting to note that fashion designers have hit the catwalks with bold bright colours and patterns. When the chips are down, the world needs fun, strength and vibrancy in its clothes. Even black has taken as big a back seat as it ever can in the UK. Grey, black's softer, subtler more feminine... Time To Clear Out Your Wardrobe
It's that time of year when Spring Cleaning, Decluttering, Refocussing, Goal Setting, New Year Resolutions are all bandied about and we either react with smug delight that we are already on top of our minimalist lives, so there is no decluttering to be done ! Or wade deeper into the wardrobe berating ourselves that the teeny, tiny, little black dress we didn't quite squeeze into over the Festive Period still calls to us...
